RE: Purchasing slideout bay trays
i have innovative industries tray installed at the factory in antigo, wi. 1000 lbs cap, $400.00. slides out either side . no problems.
RE: air suspension
if you have hwh model 610 the air is expelled when you hit the #1 button twice.
if the air bags are cracked they need to be replaced. my 1996 air bags have no cracks so you should get a reason why yours are cracked?
RE: Leave in Gear at Stops -or Neutral
i have noticed that idling in drive will cause the allison transmission temp to got up so i have started putting it in neutral for long traffic lights or other delays like traffic jams on the freeway. md3060 allison.
RE: HWY. - US 395
395 is a good road. more to see than freeways. carson city and virginia city were both interesting. we stayed at riverside rv park in sparks. that was close enough to reno for me. did not like reno. take the trip to lake tahoe to cool off.
RE: Noisy Air Conditioner
the compressor is freezing up. try raising the temp setting and see if it runs better. they can work for years with the rumble and buzzing. as long as the air is cold keep on using it. you will know when it breaks--the air will be warm..
RE: RV awning travel lock not lining up?
2 person job...one lets the strap slowly roll up the awning.....the other watches the rear lock....as the hole comes into alignment slide the lock into the hole.
RE: DP class A mountain driving/going down hill
before you go anywhere you should find out if the cruise control will work with the pacbrake? if it will set the cruise at the speed you want to maintain going downhill, turn the pacbrake on and the only time you have to take any action is if the hill is too steep for the pacbrake to hold the set speed. then tap the air brakes to bring the mh back to your set speed. reset the cruise control and keep on trucking. 50 mph is my favorite speed in oregon. 8% grade for 10 miles.
RE: Electrical question on a 1994 Newmar
look in the electrical compartment behind the left wheel well. there are small black boxes that are actually fuses that can be reset by pushing in the little tab sticking out. there are also inline fuses you can check and replace. a cheap multimeter will serve you well in looking for electrical problems. the 4000watt or more gen should handle a/c and microwave both.
RE: There must be an art to MOUNTAIN DRIVING
turn the dash control to full hot. 3rd gear on the allison, 2200 rpm. you get much more fluid flowing and the cat will run cooler.
